Tina Knowles, multi-hyphenate businesswoman and matriarch to the destiny’s children, will share her life story in an upcoming memoir, Matriarch, to be released in April 2025.
The House Of Deréon creator took to Instagram to announce her latest venture. She shared a photo of the book’s cover which features a colorful portrait of the regal grandmother surrounded by blue skies and flowers.
“I have always been a storyteller, and it’s something I learned from my mother. When I had a family of my own, I believed that my daughters needed to know where they came from in order to know where they were going. I’m now ready to share my story with all of you, so that we can all celebrate these themes of strength, motherhood, Black pride, and identity,” Knowles wrote.

The Cécred co-creator says Matriarch pays homage to the many women who helped to mold and empower her.
“I am calling this book ‘Matriarch’ because what inspires me is the wisdom that women pass on to each other, generation to generation — and the inner wisdom we long to uncover in ourselves. Even at 70 I am still learning valuable lessons — that I would have had at 40 or even 20. So, I have decided to tell my story, because I know what it means to me and my daughters and future generations of women.”
The matriarch is expected to share stories of her childhood in Galveston, Texas, her marriages, her business ventures, and raising some of the most noteworthy talents in the world.
Mama Tina’s bonus daughter, Kelly Rowland, wrote a gushing tribute to the Queen on Instagram.
“MA!!! I am so excited for you,” The Mea Culpa star wrote.
Rowland told followers what they can look forward to in this upcoming memoir.
“They will be inspired, they will connect, they will laugh, they will def shed some tears, and bond with you over the intimate details you have shared,” Beyonce’s bestie said.

Beyonce also hopped on the ‘Gram to congratulate her mama.
“You put your heart into this book. I’m happy for you to share some of the stories that shaped you into who you are. To know you is to love you. But please don’t spill too much Mama Tea,” Mrs. Carter wrote.

We beg to differ, Beyoncé. We want Mama Tina to spill ALL The tea and impart some mama wisdom on us at the same damn time.
Congratulations, Celestine Knowles; we are waiting at the edges of our seats.
