West Coast rap legend Lady of Rage is set to star in Miss Cleo: Her Rise and Fall.

The trailer dropped July 18, and the biopic will air on the Lifetime Movie Network on August 10 at 8 p.m. The Tim Reid-directed film will premiere before the documentary Call Me Miss Cleo, highlighting the beloved psychic.

The biopic focuses on the rapid rise of Youree Dell Harris, famous as psychic Miss Cleo in the 1990s. The cast includes Shane Johnson (Power) and Ian Bohen (Yellowstone), along with Daphne Maxwell Reid, Cocoa Brown, Dwayne Boyd, Towanda Braxton, Jaida Standberry, Marley Taylor, Amelia Young, Stevie Baggs Jr., and Leslie Black.

Call Me Miss Cleo is directed by Celia Aniskovich and Jennifer Brea. The documentary is produced by Gunpowder & Sky for HBO Max. The executive producers are Van Toffler, Floris Bauer, Barry Barclay, Anne Loder, Jennifer O’Connell, and Lizzie Fox. The documentary features insights from celebrities and close associates of Harris, who faced criticism after the Psychic Readers Network was accused of fraud and false advertising.

“Miss Cleo ultimately became the face of the Psychic Readers Network, earning the trust and loyalty of those who called her. Years later, Harris’ world was turned upside down with complaints that the Psychic Readers Network was fraudulent and spread false advertising. Facing angry fans, Harris was forced to defend her reputation to clear her name and escape financial devastation.”

Harris, whose story was previously explored in the 2014 documentary “Hotline,” was reportedly responsible for earning the Psychic Readers Network up to $24 million a month, a figure she denied. She succumbed to her battle with colon cancer in 2016 at age 53.

Rage is reportedly hyped about her upcoming role as America’s favorite Jafakin psychic. The quinquagenarian took to Instagram on July 15 to express her excitement.

“I don’t even know how to process this! I’ll be back later to discuss…#REPOST @lifetimetv with @get__repost__app No one could foresee the dark fate awaiting Miss Cleo. 🔮 #MissCleo #MissCleoHerRiseandFall #repostandroid #repostw10,” Rage, born Robin Allen, wrote.

Rage has over 20 acting credits, but she’s more renowned for her rough and rugged flow on “Afro Puffs.”
