As the number of love seekers dwindle and the competition increases, it appears the brothers are stepping up their game. In episode 7, they call on their friends to help them vet their potential mates. But not all of them heed their friend’s advice. William has a tough decision to make, Patrice is a fan favorite and LeRon has a bone to pick with one of the ladies. Let’s get into it.
Lets Meet The Friends
Chaz introduces Vanessa and Alexis to three of his homeboys. Alexis points out their 15- year age difference. Chaz said he’s not worried about that difference because he looks good for his age and has a “strong back.” Well alright now!
When asked about marriage, both ladies say they are open to it, but Vanessa says she is in no rush. She says she wants to prioritize building a strong connection before even considering marriage. Chaz says this a “red flag” because he doesn’t want to “wait for another year or two” to become somebody’s husband. Although Chaz’s friends thought that Vanessa was a more suitable match for him, they advised him to choose Alexis if he’s on the fast track to the altar.
Alonzo introduces Patrice and Rasheena to his bestie, India. When the ladies were asked about having children, RaSheena, a mother of three, says absolutely not. Patrice is willing to give her two children a sibling if she meets the right man. We see Alonzo’s romantic side when Patrice pulls out the handwritten letter she received from him. Alonzo may have redeemed himself after receiving a collective side-eye from all of us for playing in Koshiea’s face.

India is impressed with the two blonde bombshells but in her book, Patrice is the one.
Domonique invites Vanessa to meet his friend Mike. Domonique aspires to have a big family, so Mike asks Vanessa if she’s willing to have more babies. The mom said she is open to having more children. Vanessa gets the stamp of approval from Mike. Before leaving the date, sis let Domonique know that if he’s really checking for her, he needs to apply more pressure. Knowing that he could lose Vanessa to Chaz, brotherman plans to elevate his romance game.
Willam introduces three women to his friends Troy and Rashaundra. They first meet Mya. Rashaundra likes the 31-year-old beauty but has some concerns. Mya wants children and Willam already has three. They also meet Alexis and Patrice. Both Troy and Rashaundra thought Alexis was nice, but not a good fit for their boy. They both agree that it’s a toss up between Patrice and Mya.
LeRon takes Mya and Meika to meet his friend King. Mya tells King that she doesn’t mind that LeRon has a reputation as a party boy. She admits that she also enjoys a night out with a few cocktails. Like LeRon, she also doesn’t have children and would like to have them. Meika voices concern that LeRon has never dated a woman with children. She said that she has a “wild” son and she desires a man who can handle this. LeRon said that he would just “choke-slam” her son. This could have been an awkward moment, but Meika was unfazed by the inappropriate joke. She responded by telling him that she didn’t want a man that is always the “fun parent.” King interjected by asking if Meika could see herself with LeRon. She didn’t answer directly, but she did say that he “plays too much.” In her confessional, she admits that she doesn’t feel a connection with LeRon. Meika answered with a hard “no” when King asked if she wanted to have more children. Without missing a beat, LeRon responded by telling her she would have a baby if she met the right man. LeRon doesn’t seem to notice that he isn’t the “right man.”
King and Stevie Wonder can see that Mya is the obvious best match for LeRon. But instead of focusing on the woman that is not only compatible but wants him too, he has his sights on Meika.
The Men’s Lounge
LeRon lets us in on some of the mess that’s being going on behind the scenes. We learn that Alexis had not only been telling the men what some of the women said about them, she also sent screenshots from some of their group texts. LeRon isn’t pleased with this messy work. He calls Alexis “snake” and recommends her to be eliminated because clearly that’s not how you get ready to love.
Ultimately, LeRon gets his wish and the brothers send Alexis home. Meika is saved but is told that she has to open up to the men more. Meika says she will open up but only to the men she is interested in. Welp.
