Nobody saw a Nia Long-Kim Kardashian collaboration in the stars, however, the Boyz N The Hood actress shook up social media as the most recent Black celebrity to model Kim K’s Skims-wear; as part of its “New Year’s Solutions” campaign. The 54-year-old auntie showed off the stunning beauty that we have watched evolve over time and her body remains absolute tea. As part of a “paid partnership,” the beloved actress shared several Instagram posts fully dressed— or rather undressed— in articles from the New Year’s Eve collection. The first caption for the ad read, “Almost Naked with Skims.” Above the pithy post, is a photo of Long wearing heels and a jasper-colored bodysuit that matched her own skin tone. In the second post, Long was “snatched and contoured” with a pair of flesh toned shaping tights from the brand’s hosiery line worn over a more skin-revealing panty and bra combo. And lastly, The Best Man film star donned “Black on black” in the Skims strapless shortie bodysuit which retails at $74.

Long is the latest and perhaps greatest Skims model to pop out thus far. Past celebrities have included Cardi B, Tyra Banks, and Usher to name a few. The actress’s iconic status in Black Hollywood and Black culture is sure to bring Black aunties over to the Skims brand, which boasts to be the “next generation of underwear, loungewear and shapewear.” Long’s IG posts certainly brought them out to the comments section:
The nieces shared their adoration, too. Yung Miami, former member of the rap duo City Girls, commented, “Oh Nia 😍😍😍,” and Keke Palmer and Angela Simmons who both showered her with a host of heart and flame emojis. Long’s comment section is not without much praise from uncles such as comedian Deon Cole and Houston rapper Slim Thug, considering that Long was the object of desire for many boys and men since the 1990s. Cam’Ron, rapper and It Is What It Is podcast host, has been vocal about his crush on the Roxanne Shante actress, having jumped in her DMs to shoot his shot and profess his admiration.
