Free from 106 & Park: BET’s Top 10 Live received her flowers from thee Usher Raymond at a recent show in Boston, Massachusetts. The red-headed bombshell was spotted by the R&B icon while he was onstage performing during his USHER: Past, Present Future tour. Upon recognizing Free among concertgoers who were enjoying the show from the floor section right beneath the stage, Usher asked, “Is that Free I see?”
The Confessions singer zoned in on the area Free was standing, confirmed it was her, then made his way down for a brief face-to-face chat with the former BET host. Usher posed for several selfies as he shared an endearing moment and showed much love to Free.

Usher’s sentiment and the pleasant surprise on his face is a testament to Free’s star power and the impact she had on the culture back in the day. Free, Marie Antoinette Wright, had the early 2000s in a chokehold, becoming an inaugural host and household name when 106 & Park first aired on Sept. 11, 2000. Viewers and guests alike were smitten by Free’s beauty, grace and style, as she entered homes and hearts of fans for five years before moving on from BET’s hit show.
These days, the Boston beauty continues to live her best life. The 56-year-old AUNTIE is fine as ever and while Free is a network engineer and owner of Pudding Stone Bath, a collection of bath and body products, she can be seen on Instagram exercising her free and youthful spirit—gone fishing, steering boats, and jumping Double Dutch.
