Aunties can finally expect Mary J. Blige to kick in the doors of the footwear industry. The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul has confirmed that she will drop a boot line in 2024 or 2025 in an interview with radio personality Big Tigger.
The V-103 host asked the “Real Love” singer the question many fans have been wanting to know since Blige made over-the-knee boots part of her signature look along with her old school dance moves and notable blonde weaves.
“Where is the boot line?” Tigger asked. “Ladies been waiting for the Mary J. Blige boot line.”
“It’s coming,” Blige replied. “Yeah, it’s coming.”
Tigger asked the singer if the boot line was “really a thing” and pressed her for the 4-1-1 on when the boots would actually drop.
“We ain’t even go into production yet,” Blige said. “We ain’t do nothing yet. It’s coming in maybe two years or something but not right now,”
“Alright, alright, one year,” Blige promised.
