Black modeling legend and reality television star Cynthia Bailey shared a poignant message about getting older and growth July 25 on her Instagram page. 

The 57-year-old age-defying beauty shared a #ThrowbackThursday photo of her younger self with a side-by-side photo of herself now. 

“I love this! Although I have not changed a whole lot, I have grown plenty. I prefer this older version of myself. I have more peace, I am happier, I am more successful, and I have healthier relationships & healthier boundaries. oh & more fun and laughter. And more LOVE!” Cynthia wrote in the caption of the post.

Cynthia also has been keeping busy with life and being honored by Vice President Kamala Harris and the US Black Chambers Board for being an outstanding Black business leader on July 19.

The stunning model’s new zen doesn’t come without its trials and tribulations. 

With getting older, Cynthia has lived through some things, including two divorces from Mike Hill and Peter Thomas. But with time, lessons were learned, and now the 57-year-old flygirl has a more profound understanding that dreams are meant to be supported and seen through– no matter your age.
