The Ready To Love cast head to a remote lake house for a weekend getaway. The mini vacay brings on stress for a few of them. Patrice shoots her shot, LaRon takes the lead and Chaz bites off more than he can chew. A secret is revealed that instantly shifts the group dynamic. Will a little rest and relaxation help ease the tensions brewing within the group?
A Match Made In Da Club
LaRon’s “party boy” reputation has been a red flag for some of the ladies, but this a green flag in Mya’s book. The IT consultant says she works hard and plays hard—so LaRon is her type of guy. Neither of them have children but they both aspire to be parents one day. Mya says although she is open to dating men with children, she would rather experience being a first time parent with a first time parent.
LaRon pulls Mya aside and asks her to be “his girl.” Although she doesn’t say yes in the moment, things seems promising for these two and we love that for them.
Not So Well Played, Playboy.
Chaz has made a connection with Rasheena and Mieka. Patrice tells Chaz that she would also like to throw her name in the hat. Having all his connections together under one roof, turns out to be a bit of a challenge for our good brother.
After Domonique was eliminated, Chaz is Vanessa’s only connection. She admits that she struggles with watching her guy mingle with the other ladies. She walks into a bedroom to find Chaz and Mieka laying in bed holding hands. She tries to play it cool, but sis wears her feelings on her sleeve and her face. Although Chaz wants to explore his possibilities with the other women, he doesn’t want to lose Vanessa. So he pulls her aside to test her temperature. Vanessa says she’s fine, yet her facial expression and body language say otherwise.
Chaz is seen eating a strawberry from Rasheena’s cleavage. He then eats another strawberry from her mouth before locking lips with her. Chaz admits that he may have gotten a little too carried away, especially since he doesn’t want to mess things up with his other prospects.
Patrice asks Vanessa, “what are we going to do” about Chaz. Vanessa is unwilling to participate in the pick-me olympics; she says not going to do anything because it’s up to him to make a decision. When Meika and Rasheena join the conversation, they learn that all four of them received the same “Good Morning, beautiful” text. This doesn’t sit well with any of them.
A Family Meeting
LaRon gathers the group to lay down some rules:
Rule #1: Don’t get “salty” when you see your connection talking to someone else. He seems to be referring to Vanessa, who has become noticeably pensive since the trip has started.
Rule #2: Don’t make alliances. This statement confuses some of his castmates, so LaRon explains. According to LaRon, some folks worked out a strategy to have other castmates removed from the show. One of LaRon’s former connections, Koshiea fell victim to this alleged alliance. Apparently, William was a part of the secret collaboration. William denied the accusations but LaRon stood on business.
In turn, William explained prior text messages were taken out of context and it was all a misunderstanding. This news put a bad taste in some of the ladies’ mouths—including some of his connections. Both Patrice and Mya are second guessing their association with William.
Elimination Time
After learning about William’s alleged participation in the secret alliance, it’s no surprise that he’s up for elimination. After sharing he’s dealing with some family issues, some of the ladies also admit that they don’t think they are ready to love William or have the emotional capacity to give him what he needs.
Alonzo is also on the chopping block, the ladies think that his unserious ways make it difficult for them to see him as a potential mate. LaRon has also been nominated for elimination and brother man is shook. Which one will it be? We will have to wait until next week to find out.
