Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter

In a rare glimpse into the life of Queen Mother and patron saint of Black girl magic Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, British Vogue served tea with a side of honey to her fans. The revealing interview offered the legion known as the Beyhive an intimate peek into the entertainment mogul’s private life. The Black Is King diva chopped it up with Edward Enniful. The latter is the editor-in-chief of the posh publication about her family life, favorite foods, philanthropy, and, of course, fashion.

As if everything the beloved singer isn’t monumental, Beyoncé could not be called Queen Bey if she didn’t have actual beehives in her spacious backyard. Yes, that’s two beehives and not her legion of fans known as The Beyhive.

Beyoncé acknowledged that the beehives at the crib sounded peculiar, but she has them for good reasons.

“I know it’s random, but I have two beehives. Real ones. I’ve had them at my house for a while now. I have around 80,000 bees, and we make hundreds of jars of honey a year,” Mrs. Carter explained. “I started the beehives because my daughters, Blue and Rumi, both have terrible allergies, and honey has countless healing properties.”

Although the thought of thousands of honeybees buzzing around the yard might give many people the shivers, Twitter users stanned hard for Queen Bey’s odd admission.

One Twitter user threw shade at the Beyhive, highlighting what the singer really gave a damn about.

“The fact that Beyoncé had to clarify that her beehives were the real ones,” the tweet read.

Another tweet seconded that emotion with a quote from Beyoncé’s mouth.

“I have two beehives. Real ones. I’ve had them at my house for a while now. I have around 80,000 bees,” the Twitter user wrote.

One Twitter user thought that Bey’s old photo was a premonition of what was to come from the singer. It’s no secret that the “Grown Woman” singer is about her coins.

“When she shows up at Walmart looking like this to sell her honey,” the tweet read.

Another Twitter user wanted to know if she could cop jars for the sweet, golden goodness.

“I want to know if she sells these jars of honey,” she wrote.

Another tweet simply asked the Queen if she could see the beehives.

“Can we see the beehives @Beyoncé,” asked the Twitter user.

A final tweet acknowledged that Beyoncé was inspiring mothers everywhere by taking care of her babies.

“Just got an inordinate amount of joy finding out that Beyoncé owns her own beehives for raw honey to help w/ her kids’ allergies,” the tweet said.

The native Houstonian also posed for an unprecedented three separate cover photos for the coveted issue.
