The Instagram video showcased Ashanti’s mother, Tina Douglas, affectionately checking in on her daughter as she prepared for a performance. Proov product wrappers were spotted on Ashanti’s makeup table among the makeup preparations, hinting at the joyful news to come.
The video captured the 43-year-old expectant mother’s candid revelation of her pregnancy with humor and warmth as she quipped, “Uh, I’m gonna need about nine months.”
